‘The Plough Inn, Rede’

£35.00£200.00

A place that holds many happy memories for me, and was the view from my first studio space in the village hall. I grew up in a village called Rede and I spent a lot of time in this pub (when I became old enough!) and had many good times and laughs in this pub with the locals and regulars, as well as the landlord, landlady and the staff who worked there. Memories I will always carry with me fondly. It is also the place that holds the frame of Keys that fascinated me so much that I felt compelled to recreate it in my artwork, as drawings and paintings.

It is a reminder of home and growing up in a place I love, which is one of the most precious things to me.There is not much that beats the feeling of being home and where you belong.
